Documentary on Congressman Adriano Espaillat previewed in Washington

Washington, DC.- A preview of the documentary Espaillat, Everybody’s Congressman, produced by El Nuevo Diario Films, was successfully screened in Washington during the annual Dominicans on the Hill event. The film, directed by Juan Delancer, explores the political and personal journey of Adriano Espaillat, the first and only U.S. legislator of Dominican origin.

The trailer received an enthusiastic response from attendees at the event, held at the U.S. Congress Visitors Center. Dominicans on the Hill celebrates the contributions of the Dominican diaspora in the United States, and the documentary highlights Espaillat’s impact as a representative of New York’s 13th district.

The full documentary is set to premiere in both the Dominican Republic and the United States, with the release date to be announced soon.
