Punta Cana.- Meliá Hotels International and tennis star Rafael Nadal will officially present their latest hotel project, Zel Punta Cana, on March 7 at 6:00 p.m. The launch event will bring together key figures from the public and private tourism sectors in the Dominican Republic.
Located in the Bávaro complex in Punta Cana, the 190-room luxury all-inclusive resort blends sports and relaxation, a concept championed by Nadal and Meliá’s CEO, Gabriel Escarrer. The hotel is designed with a nature-inspired aesthetic and aims to strengthen the region’s high-end hospitality offerings.
Following the brand’s success in North America, Zel Punta Cana marks its first expansion into the Caribbean. It will also feature the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy, combining innovation with sustainability to enhance the guest experience and promote high-performance training.
