Accident on Coral Highway leaves two injured and causes heavy traffic

A serious accident on Monday morning near the Higüey-La Romana peak on Coral Highway left two people injured and caused major traffic congestion. The crash involved a car, a Public Works van, and a truck carrying food and alcoholic beverages, which overturned after impact.
According to Diario Libre, witnesses reported that the car collided with the van, forcing the truck driver into an evasive maneuver that led to the rollover. Authorities, including Digesett officers, are working to clear the area and investigate the cause of the accident. One person remains trapped inside a vehicle, but no fatalities have been reported.
Amid the chaos, some individuals looted scattered merchandise from the overturned truck.
