Hurt sperm whale found near northwest is cured, led out to sea(Correct)

Montecristi, Dominican Republic.- Fishermen found a live sperm whale floating in Manzanillo Bay, where its injuries were cured and was then goaded out to sea.

The mammal of around 3 meters was found beached on the shore of the beach of Estero Balsa in the country’s northwest, where witnesses said the fishermen alerted Environment authorities in Montecristi province.

Although Manzanillo residents were amazed by the whale and said they’ve never seen that type of animal near the shore, a baby sperm whale was also saved near the same spot last year.

The whale was found after 11am Wednesday, was pulled from the water by a backhoe, cured and then was led into deeper water.

Experts say such animals lose their way and this time ended up in Manzanillo Bay, where the inhabitants of the coastal community saved its life.
