Search for missing Indian tourist ends after 13 days

Punta Cana.- Authorities have suspended the search for Indian tourist Sudiksha Konanki after 13 days of efforts involving drones, helicopters, and trained dogs, according to El Nacional. Meanwhile, American Joshua Steven Riibe, the last person to see her before she disappeared, has left the Dominican Republic.

Konanki’s parents, Subbarayudu and Sreedevi Konanki, have accepted the tragic news of their daughter’s presumed drowning, expressing their grief. The case, which once received extensive media coverage, has seen declining interest, with only a few reporters still following the developments.
