Meanwhile, American Joshua Steven Riibe, the last person to see her before she disappeared, has left the Dominican Republic.
Konanki’s parents, Subbarayudu and Sreedevi Konanki, have accepted the tragic news of their daughter’s presumed drowning, expressing their grief. The case, which once received extensive media coverage, has seen declining interest, with only a few reporters still following the developments.
