The Superintendence of Health and Labor Risks (Sisalril) announced yesterday that coverage for traffic accident care will increase from RD$1,161,150 to RD$1,300,488.
Circular 69-2025 states that the entity indicated that the measure is due to the salary increase announced by the Government.
According to the document, such coverage is guaranteed 100% to the affiliates in the contributory and subsidized regimes, pensioners’ plans, and retirees, which is limited to the benefits catalog.
The ordinance, which comes into force on April 1, also establishes the maximum limit of the co-payment to be paid by the affiliates, setting it at RD$ 21,674 for the calculation of the contribution ceilings corresponding to the Contributory Regime in the Family Health, Labor Risks and Old Age, Disability and Survivorship insurance.
The Sisalril also raised the minimum capital required of the Health Risk Administrators (ARS) from RD$ 77,410,000 to RD$ 86,699,200, to comply with the provisions of Decree 72-03, which establishes the Regulations for their organization and regulation.
With this ordinance, the text refers, the entity reaffirms its commitment to watch over the protection of the health and labor risk rights of the affiliated population, whose care is fundamental to ensure their welfare.
The circular was issued in compliance with the provisions of the Regulations on the National Fund for Medical Care in Transit. It was addressed to the ARSs, the Dominican Institute for the Prevention and Protection of Labor Risks (Idoppril), the General Directorate of Information and Defense of Affiliates (DIDA), and the Health Service Providers (PSS).
