Authorities intensify search for missing three-year-old

Jarabacoa.- The National Police continues an extensive search for three-year-old Roldanis Calderón, who went missing on Sunday, March 30, in El Tablón, Manabao, La Vega province. The investigation, led by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Children and Adolescents, involves police, military authorities, and emergency relief agencies.

Judge Olga Dina, along with Generals Pedro Matos Pérez and Juan Pablo Ferreira Veras, is overseeing the operation. The child, son of Carolina Vargas Ureña and Efraín Nicolás Calderón, disappeared while playing near J. Armando Bermúdez National Park.

The Dominican Republic Army, Civil Defense, Fire Department, and Country Guard are using drones and canine units in their efforts. Authorities urge the public to share any information that could help locate the child, emphasizing their commitment to the search.
