Scattered showers, mild temps continue

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) says the moderate showers over most of the country during the past 12 hours will continue Thursday, from a stationary frontal trough.

It forecasts frequent showers for the Northwest, North, Northeast and Central Mountains.

Onamet said the trough will weaken Friday, when the rains will taper off, adding that the seasonably mild temperature will range from a high of 30ºC to a low of 20ºC.
