Abinader honored in Switzerland for advancing workers’ rights

Geneva , Switzerland.- Dominican President Luis Abinader was honored at the 113th International Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland, for his continued support of workers’ rights and social dialogue. The recognition, presented during the Global Coalition for Social Justice’s Annual Forum, was awarded by Dominican union leaders Gabriel del Río (CASC), Pepe Abreu (CNUS), and Jacobo Ramos (CNTD). They praised Abinader’s efforts to promote the dignity, well-being, and development of the Dominican workforce.

In his speech, Abinader expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing democratic values, improving quality of life, and promoting inclusive economic growth. He emphasized the importance of dialogue, crediting the country’s union and business communities for their balanced and responsible approaches.
