Dominican Republic to have its first Radisson hotel

Santo Domingo.– Radisson will soon be opening its first-ever hotel in the Dominican Republic, which will be located in the heart of Santo Domingo’s commercial district.

Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group for the Americas, said the 190-room hotel is set to open under the Radisson brand in March, as part of the expansion drive in the region, with new hotels in the last few years in Grenada and Barbados.

The new Radisson hotel is located in the city’s business and commercial district, just minutes from the Santo Domingo baseball stadium, sports palace, National Theater and the Cultural Plaza.

The hotel will offer a full-service restaurant and bar, business center, fitness center and free high-speed Internet.
