The Rosario Brothers mark 45 years of music with “Infinito Positivo”

Santo Domingo.- With infectious energy and deep gratitude, Los Hermanos Rosario marked their 45th anniversary by launching Infinito Positivo, a vibrant salsa album that reimagines their greatest merengue hits. “This isn’t just an album—it’s a celebration full of swing, heart, and respect for our audience,” said lead vocalist Rafa Rosario during the emotional release event held at Cava Alta in Santo Domingo.

The album features ten classic tracks transformed with fresh arrangements and stellar collaborations from renowned salsa artists, including Víctor Manuelle, Tito Nieves, José Alberto “El Canario,” Grupo Niche, Willy Chirino, and the late Johnny Ventura. Highlights include the salsa version of “La Dueña del Swing” featuring Gilberto Santa Rosa, whose music video is already streaming on YouTube. The album moves seamlessly from high-energy tracks like “Esa morena” to festive closers like “Morena ven,” showcasing the band’s versatility while honoring their legacy.

Produced by Yturvides Vilchez and recorded at Rolo Sound Studio in Puerto Rico, Infinito Positivo is a tribute to Los Rosario’s enduring musical journey. With contributions from Acroarte president Wanda Sánchez as the evening’s host, the launch celebrated not only four and a half decades of rhythm but also the group’s ability to evolve while keeping their signature spirit alive. The album is now available on all digital platforms.
