Miss Latina belle Nabila Tapia visits NYC high shoolers

Brooklyn, N.Y.- Nabila Tapia, Dominican starlet and Univision NuestraBelleza Latina 2nd runner up, visited Progress High School located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.“Growing up we never had anyone come to our school, at least no one that we had seen on Television,” she said. On the reality and beauty show, Tapia was 1 of 12 contestants who competed for the title of NuestraBelleza Latina, the chance to be a Univision personality, as well as other prizes.

Over 50 students gathered to meet Tapia in person, take pictures, and hear from the star a compelling message on the importance of Education. “Schools are institutions that lay the foundation of a young man and woman’s development.

Upon finishing school, we are all set to soar high in life, and enter the real world in pursuit of our dreams” she said. In addition, Tapia could not help but express her appreciation for their showing support and voting for her throughout her time on NuestraBelleza Latina. Media outlet World Latin Star was also present, to capture the day’s events.

Progress High School for Professional Careers is located on 850 Grand Street in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. William Jusino, is the current Principal at Progress High School, which grade ranges from 9-12.
