Extremely high temperatures, widely scattered showers

Santo Domingo.- TheNational Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts continuing partly cloudy skies withwidely scattered showers and unseasonably high temperatures.

It said an upper leveltrough over the Windward Channel will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Onamet said the high temperatureswill continue nationwide, as high as 36 degrees Celsius.

It said the showers willbe mostly over of Monte Plata, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Sanchez Ramirez, Samana,Duarte, La Vega, Monseñor Noel, Dajabón and Santiago Rodriguez provinces.
