Philip Morris Dominicana refurbishes Moncion´s City Park

SD. Philip MorrisDominicana together with the Dominican Association for Women in Development,Inc. MUDE, in coordination with the Moncion Municipal Council conducted a majorrefurbishment and retrofit of the City Park as a result of the "Road tothe Frontier" program.

This initiative seeksto give the community a comfortable space for family recreation, as the parkwas undergoing deterioration and to provide safety and recreation for children.

Philip MorrisDominicana seeks to motivate businesses across the country to formalize their operations and avoidthe sale of illegal products.

"For our companyit is crucial to raise awareness on the problem of illicit trade. Thisinitiative adds to the national effort made by several productive sectors and agenciesof the Dominican Government, to counter the effects of smuggling and informalityin Dominican Republic," said Philip Morris Dominicana corporate affairs directorManuel Cabral.
