Puerto Plata.- Tourismminister Francisco Javier García will be present for the inaugural of the 4th annual Discover Puerto PlataMarketPlace at 7pm Wednesday, with the participation of tour operators fromEurope, Central, North, South and Latin America, and even one from CentralAsia,.
Puerto Plata´s TourismCluster hosts the event slated for the Lifestyle Holydays Vacation Resort inCofresi until Friday, sponsored by the Tourism Ministry.
The organizers saidin this occasion the event will promote adventure tourism and incorporates new northregion destinations such as Santiago, Constanza, Jarabacoa, Montecristi and RioSan Juan.
They will also provide business opportunitiesand a trade show which gathers over 100 exhibitors and around 150 internationaltour operators and media representatives from various countries.
