Dominican Republic, Cuba bet on multi destination

Santo Domingo.– Tourism minister Francisco Javier Garcia said that the Dominican Republic will jointly develop a multi destination project with Cuba in order to attract a larger number of Chinese tourists.

The top official made the announcement this week during the first China-Dominican Republic Cooperation Forum, held in Punta Cana. He said that Cuban authorities are interested in multi destination to attract the Chinese market.

According to García, the announced by Air China of opening the Beijing-Havana route for late December with three weekly flights is good news for the joint multi destination project.
