Education is GREAT Britain: GREAT Universities Fair.

The British Embassy in Santo Domingo is organising the third BritishUniversities Fair in the Dominican Republic.

After the success of the previous two British Universities Fairs held inMarch and September 2014, the British Embassy in Santo Domingo will receive ninetop British universities. They will visit Santo Domingo and Santiago.

These British universities will participate in the fairs since they areinterested in receiving Dominican students to pursue undergraduate, graduateand PHD degrees. Attendees will have the opportunity of meeting representatives of the nine educational institutions thatparticipate in the activity and learn about life in the UK.

The Fairs will be held in Santo Domingo, at the JW Marriott Hotel, onWednesday, 21 October, from 2:30 to 7:30 and in Santiago at the Gran AlmiranteHotel at the Salón Magua on Thursday 22 October from 2:00 to 7:00.

The Fairs will showcase the many educational opportunities available inthe UK for those looking for an exceptional academic experience. Anotherobjective of the visit is to create new links and partnerships between Britishuniversities and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology(MESCyT).
