Landslides affect Samaná road

Santo Domingo.- Landslides and rock fallsaffected the Boulevard Túristico highway on Monday morning, on the stretch betweenLas Terrenas and Sánchez in Samaná province.

The information was posted on theMinistry of Public Works Military and Police Commission’s Twitter account, whichadded that members of the organization were working to resolve thesituation.

“Landslides between LasTerrenas and Sánchez on the Boulevard Turístico road @COMIPOLRD re-establishingtransit”, said the tweet from Colonel Jacobo Mateo Moquete, spokesman for theentity. The official urged road users in the area to exercise caution.
