Santo Domingo.- Cementmaker CEMEX and NGO TECHO have built the first two pilot models of a projected 100homes to pour cement floors to benefit families living in poverty and invulnerable areas, positively impacting their health and wellbeing.
The project, carriedout under a sustainable model with the participation of communities, allowspoor families to improve their quality of life by reducing the cycle of povertyby accessing a projectable housing with cement foundations, with the ability toexpand in stages as the family has access to more resources.
