Santo Domingo.– Dominican Power Partners (DPP), an electricity company ownedby AES Dominicana, a subsidiary of the AES Corporation,handed over the refurbished Parque Arcoiris and Community Center Benjamin tothe Santo Domingo East City Council, as part of the Social Assistance Program signedbetween the two institutions.
The new facilities, in which more than the 6.7 billion pesoswere invested, were inaugurated by Mayor Juan de los Santos and AES Dominicanapresident Edwin De los Santos.
The opening ceremonies were attended by Santo Domingo Eastvice mayor Jeannette Medina, City Council president Ana Tejeda, AES Dominicana Combined Cycle project manager Abraham Garrido, Abraham Garrido, DPP plant director Juan Carlos Cobian and VP for Communications German Toro.
