Santo Domingo.- LaRomana´s Los Toros del Este exploded with a five-run rally in the third inningto defeat San Pedro´s Estrellas Orientales 12 to 7 and again advance to the playoffsof the 2015-16 Winter Baseball season.
Despite last night´sloss San Pedro won the regular season and has a one-game lead over SantoDomingo´s Tigres. Both teams play Monday tonight.
A Tigres win would leadto a tie for first place, but the title would be decided by their recordagainst each other in the regular series, in which San Pedro leads 6 to 3.
La Romana´s win completesthe four teams heading to the playoffs slated to start December 27.
