Santo Domingo.- BusinessAlliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) Dominican Republic chapter executivedirector Omar Castellanos on Tuesday saidthe "Excellence in service export sector" award is an achievement that recognizes the company DP World Caucedo.
He said the DominicanExporters Association´s ( ADOEXPO) recent award reaffirms that BASC membercompanies establish safety management systems that add value and facilitate DominicanRepublic exports.
Castellanos spoke tocongratulate DP World Caucedo CEO Samuel Conde during a ceremony in the HotelJaragua, where five companies were also recognized in as many areas.
"For us it is amatter of great satisfaction that a member of the board of BASC, such as DPWorld Caucedo, has been selected as an outstanding service for the exportsector, as our certification focuses on adding value to all supply chain ofinternational trade," Castellanos said.
"DP World also laudsthe recent opening of the Caucedo logistics center that promises to turn thecountry into the largest and most efficient regional destination for sea andair cargo."
DP World Caucedo is a freightterminal and world class free zone located in Punta Caucedo, DominicanRepublic, 25 kilometers east of the capital city Santo Domingo.
