Nobel laureate Mohan Munasinghe meets with Presidency chief of staff

Santo Domingo.– Presidency chief of staff Gustavo Montalvo met with Nobel Peace Prize, Professor Mohan Munasinghe at the National Palace Thursday, together with representatives of the Coalicion Rio (river coalition), created with his assessment to solve the Ozama river’s pollution.

"Together with Coalicion Rio we are working in the cleaning and recovery of the Ozama riverbanks in order to enable the development of all the inhabitants of that area," Montalvo said.

Professor Munasinghe highlighted the progress made in the initial stages of this project that calls for a balance between the social, economic and environmental aspects.
