The nominees and finalists are chosen by airlines and a respected panel of judges, formed by prominent members of the region’s air network planning community, which review the credentials of each airport.

The judges John Kirby, vice president of Capacity (Alaska Airlines); Adriana Hurtado, Director of Network Planning (Avianca) and Dave Clark, VP Network Planning (Jetblue Airways).

In addition, John Weatherill, director of the Network and Schedule Planning (WestJet Airlines); Lukas Johnson, VP Network and Pricing (Allegiant Air) and Ángel García, Network Planning Manager (VivaAeroBus).

Punta Cana Airport, owned and operated by the Puntacana Group, resulted a finalist in the category of terminals, which moved from four to 20 million passengers in 2014.

The Routes Marketing Awards 2015 event was held in Denver Center.
