Prosecutor: Warrants out for 3 executives of failed bank

Santo Domingo.- The National District Office of the Prosecutor on Tuesday announced it has issued an international warrant to arrest three executives of the collapsed bank Peravia, charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and other crimes.

Jose Luis Santoro Castellano, Gabriel Jimenez Aray and Daniel Morales Santoro.

It said the National District Instruction Court issued warrants 0408, 0409 and 0410 to apprehend the accused, for which it has notified Interpol and other international law enforceent agencies.

In a statement, the Office of the Prosecutor said there are hundreds of victims in the case it calls complex, with dozens of defendants charged with several offenses, in the ongoing investigation.
