Guillermo Moreno asks people to demand resignation of SC judges

Santo Domingo.– AL-Pais minority party leader and former Presidency candidate Guillermo Moreno askedthe Dominican people to demand the resignation of all judges of the SupremeCourt, after a judge acquitted senator Felix Bautista citing lack of evidence in the money laundering and embezzlement case.

Moreno stated that the Supreme Court judges do not have the quality toface corruption of members of his own party and said that today is a day ofmourning for justice and Dominican democracy.

The political leader said that members of the Supreme Court should resign after the fact that on the same day two judges decided to acquit two officials of theDominican Liberation Party accused of corruption.
