Dominican Republic, Haiti agree on immigration, security, transport and trade

Santo Domingo.– Dominican Foreign Relations minister Andres Navarro and Haiti counterpart Pierre Duly Brutus announced Friday the agreements reached between the two governments on issues such as immigration, security, cargo trasnport and trade,

The Joint Bilateral Commission also discussed initiatives related to investment, power generation, telecommunications, border management and territorial order as a way to strengthen diplomatic ties.

Navarro said there were advances in safety that led to an agreement between the police of both countries, and soon another agreement will be signed between the defense ministries to ensure public tranquility in the border area.
