SD.- In two years the US Agency for International Development (USAID) has allocated RD$73.1 million through the REDDOM Foundation and local partners to rebuild seven aqueducts, donated filters for drinking water and reduce the risks of climate change.
The actions have been carried out through the USAID Programs and REDDOM’s Food Safety and Sanitation for the Northwest Valley Regions, as well as the cooperation the Dominican Republic Insurance and Climate Change Index by both entities funding for Sustainable Cacao, by USAID, Mondelëz and Conacado.
The 71 million pesos include matching funds from the program’s partner institutions and the contribution by communities which have materialized them under the Shared Investment Mode.
