Online high school lets students earn US-accredited diploma

SD. Florida-based academic organizations in Santo Domingo recently launched an online high school through which students from the Dominican Republic can earn a US-accredited diploma without having to travel there.

Washington Collado, a Dominican educator based in Florida headed the launch of the Virtual Diploma Program, sponsored by Vamco Education, partnered with the Florida Virtual School and The Cottage School.

Educational consultants Aida Consuelo Hernández and Anabelle Peña accompanied Collado in the event held at the AIRD Business Tower, Santo Domingo.
