Private company supports AMET for safety operation during Easter

Santo Domingo.– The Metropolitan Transit Authority (AMET) received support from Sigma Petroleum Corporation, which delivered 500 reflective vests to be donated to motorbikers, bikers and pedestrians on the occasion of the AMET campaign "More Prudence and Fewer Accidents."

The grant aims to help protect hundreds of citizens, drivers and pedestrians, in order to prevent traffic accidents and deaths. The delivery was made Tuesday in the Amet headquarters.

"Our company prioritizes actions related to road safety, so we join this program in hopes that Dominicans enjoy the Easter holiday in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility as well as safety on our streets and avenues," Sigma PR manager Gloria Zacharias said.
