PLD: Political Committee to discuss a busy agenda for Sunday’s meeting

Santo Domingo.– Dominican Republic’s ruling party (PLD) leaders believe that the meeting of the Political Committee Sunday 19, to be held at Metro Country Club in Juan Dolio at 10 am, might result in a lengthy one due to the relevance of the issues on the agenda.

The spokesman for the Dominican Liberation Party said a PLD commission met Friday with representatives of Metro Country Club to discuss logistics and organization details.

Even thouh it is a closed-door meeting, photographers and cameramen may be present before it starts. Shortly after the meeting is over, all details on decisions and resolutions taken will be given at a press conference.

CP meetings are chaired by President Danilo Medina, party president Leonel Fernandez, general secretary Reinaldo Pared, Dominican Republic’s vice president Margarita Cedeño and Senate president Cristina Lizardo.
