AES Dominicana one of 10 Great Places to Work: Think tank

Santo Domingo.-The energy group AES Dominicana is among the 10 best companies to work for in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean according to the results of the annual ranking of the prestigious international firm "Great Place to Work," disclosed recently in the Dominican capital.

According to the certification granted by the Institute GPTW the group made significant progress in the measurement scale going from 11th in 2013 to 6th place of the best companies to work for in Dominican Republic, from 14th in 2013 to 7th place in the Caribbean region in 2014.

The award was received by Edwin De los Santos president of AES Dominicana, Mayka McCalla, AES Vice President of Human Resources Strategic Business Unit for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean (MCAC), Paola Frias, talent manager for MCAC, Anyolina Polanco specialist labor relations, benefits and staff activities, and senior executives of AES Dominicana Angel Guastaferro and Benjamin Villalobos.

Since 2008 AES Dominicana has managed to remain one of the best places to work showing significant progress in each of the parameters that measures an excellent human capital management.

Among the items that ??GPTW values as most significant for large multinational companies in Central America and the Caribbean are credibility, respect, fairness, pride, camaraderie among other measured factors related to an organizational culture.
