Sur Futuro, MERCADOM agree to help farmers market crops

Santo Domingo.- Dominicans Republic’s Farmers Markets Association (MERACDOOM) and the Sur Futuro Foundation signed an agreement to support and facilitate the marketing of crops for farmers in the towns of Padre Las Casas, Guayabal and Las Yayas the Azua province (south).

The farmers are being technically assisted by Sur Futuro, under the Master Plan for Sabana Yegua Dam’s Upper Basin, as well as other communities, according to a statment from Sur Futuro president Melba Segura de Grullón and MERCADOM administrator Claudio Jiménez.
