Santo Domingo.– Santo Domingo State University (UASD) on Thursday graduated 430 professionals indifferent specialty programs. During the ceremony rector Ivan Grullon said the UASD needs over a thousand teachers to increase its pedagogical staff.
"We havecommunicated President Danilo Medina that we need to urgently hire teachers to expand our pedagogical staff, and that approach was very positive," Grullon said during the closingspeech.
Rector Grullon pointed out he feels proud of the potential of the First University in the New World, and added that today the UASD is the higher education institution with more teachers with levels of specialty, masters andincreases the number of teachers with doctoral level.
