TV mogul sent to shrink for domestic violence against ex Miss Ohio

Santo Domingo.- A National District court on Monday ordered TV mogul Frank Jorge Elias to pay RD$300,000 to a charity organization, after his ex-wife Sandra Kurdas accused him of gender violence.

Fifth Instruction Court judge Arisleyda Mendez ruled that the money should be given to a non-governmental organization (NGO) which fights violence against women.

Jorge was also ordered to undergo psychological treatment, educational programs broadcast by Channel 33, against gender violence.

Jorge, accused of domestic violence against Kurdas, a former Miss Ohio, will have to comply with the ruling within six months.

The business leader also had to post bond, has a travel restriction and must visit the National District Office of the Prosecutor once a month.
