Scattered showers continue

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts continuing scattered showers until the early evening hours, from a trough over eastern Cuba and the high moisture in the air mass.

It said the rains will be more frequent over central and western provinces.

"In the next 48 hours, the trough will be approaching our territory, providing favorable conditions to continue occurring downpours, thunderstorms and isolated gusts of wind to the southeast, northeast and central mountain range border area," it said.

Onamet said temperatures will range from a low of 22 degrees C to a high of 31 degrees Celsius.
