Dominican Wings test flights eye definitive launch: arecoa.com

Santo Domingo.- The carrier Dominican Wings on Tuesday conducted its second test flight to Mexico City as part of the requirements to obtain the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute’s (IDAC) technical certification leading to its definitive launch, which airline president Eddy Tineo promises will occur within 30 days,

Outlet arecoa.com reports that DW recently received at Las Americas International Airport an Airbus 320 which has already made test flight to Panama and Aruba, operations with only its pilots and IDAC technicians aboard..

The airline executive said it would be the first carrier to operate the late model plane on Dominican soil, for which “we’re very confident that after obtaining technical certification will be approved by the Civil Aviation Board.”
