Most fuels prices climb a 5th straight week

Santo Domingo.- For the 5th straight week the Industry and Commerce Ministry posted higher prices on most fuels in effect for the week from May 9 to 15, when premium gasoline will cost RD$225.90, or RD$1.00 more and regular gasoline will cost RD$204.50, an increase of RD$2.20 per gallon.

Premium diesel will cost RD$174.70 and regular RD$166.70, both up RD$2.50 higher; premium diesel will cost RD$186.20, up RD$2.20; avtur will cost RD$121.10, an increase of RD$5.10; kerosene will cost RD$152.50, an increase of RD$5.60 and fuel oil will cost RD$99.63, an increase of RD$2.82 per gallon.

Propane will cost RD$87.50 per gallon while natural gas will cost RD$31.44 per cubic meter, both unchanged.

The Central Bank’s average posted exchange rate of RD$44.85 per dollar was used to calculate fuel prices.
