Consulate in NYC to help diaspora, foreigners buy a home

New York.- Dominican consul in New York Eduardo Selman on Wednesday announced the creation of a special desk at the consulate to inform and promote the Dominican Republic as a home-purchase destination for the diaspora and foreigners.

The information was provided after the event ‘Investment property: a home in the Dominican Republic,’ the first item on the agenda of Dominican Week in USA (SemDomUSA), launched Monday in Washington DC.

Selman pledged the Government’s full support. "The consulate will promote our country for real estate investment, which can contribute to national growth and economic and social revitalization."
