Tropical wave bring showers; flash flood alerts issued

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts continuing showers from a tropical wave over the northeastern part of the country.

It issued flash flood alerts for urban areas of La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro, Hato Mayor provinces and Great Santo Domingo.

It said the wave will weaken Wednesday, but scattered showers will continue over much of the country.

It said temperatures will range from a high of 33 to a low of 21° C.
