Haitian belle debunks Dominican racism

Santo Domingo.- Television host of Haitian descent SarodjBertin on Tuesday criticized the racist label hurled against Dominican Republicand noted that those who voice the slur seek only to create chaos amongDominicans and Haitians.

Bertin, a former Miss Haiti Universe and model, said hatred,ill will and hidden intentions are behind the racist accusations leveledagainst Dominican Republic.

"I don’t think Dominican Republic hates Haitians atall. What I believe is that there are many international organizations,international interests that want to create this chaos between the DR andHaiti," Bertin said in a televised program aired in Dominican Republic.
