Dominican Republic explains deportations to foreign envoys

Santo Domingo.-The Dominican government today on Wednesday explained the scope of its program to legalize undocumented aliens to the foreign diplomats in the country,

Presidency administrative minister Jose Ramon Peralta with other senior officials headed the commission in the National Palace, where several envoys stated satisfaction with the information and said they’ll convey it to their respective governments and agencies

UN representative Lorenzo Jimenez de Luis and Switzerland ambassador Leon Marie-Line Pernet said they’re satisfied with the information, while Spanish envoy Jaime de la Cadena noted that despite the problem’s complexity Dominican Republic’s effort to legalize foreigners is positive.
