Puerto Plata.- Thenumber of fatal victims rose to seven from a tragic collision on Sunday morningin the Sosua-Cabarete road on the Atlantic coast, with four wounded.
The victims were in car,a SUV and a bus, whose passengers blamed the driver for overloading the vehicle.
The injured weretaken to various health centers in Puerto Plata and Cabarete.
The funeral for oneof the victims was held in Gaspar Hernandez, where relatives complained to the MetropolitanTransit Authority that bus drivers of the Rio San Juan-Sosua route for thelarge number of people they pack into their buses.
