Santiago.- Threepeople died in a plane crash near Santiago on Sunday including the brothers JoseAriel and Joselito Gómez Marte and Yensy Mateo Sanchez, who were aboard a PiperWarrior aircraft.
The deceased JoséAriel was piloting the plane along with his brother Joselito, and aircraftmechanics like Sanchez.
The Dominican CivilAviation Institute (IDAC) said the plane crashed in a banana plantation at EstanciaNueva, Puñal, near Cibao Airport, from where it had taken off at 12:15 pm Sunday,but lost contact around 20 minutes later.
