Dominican Republic road carnage continues: 12 dead

Santo Domingo.- Roadcarnage in the Dominican Republic continued over the weekend, with at least fivepeople reportedly killed Monday dawn in Nagua, just hours after another wreckin nearby Cabarete claimed seven lives.

A car and two motorcycles collided at Matanzastwo kilometers east of Nagua and the victims are all residents of the village LasCejas.

In the accident that tookplace at 1am the driver of the car lost control and hit the two bikes as the victimswere returning home.
