Medina hands Dominican flag to Pam Am athletes headed to Toronto

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Monday urged the Dominican athletes to boldly compete and represent the nation at the Pan American Games to in Toronto, Canada from July 10 to 26.

Medina received a delegation of athletes in the National Palace, accompanied by the Dominican Olympic Committee and presented the flag that will fly at the Olympic Village starting Thursday.

The president, accompanied by cabinet officials, spoke and took photos for more than half an hour with athletes of volleyball, karate, fencing and judo.
