Taiwan, Dominican leaders meet in Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo.- Taiwan president Ma Ying Jeou morning Monday visited the National Palace, where he was received with honors of State prior to meeting with president Danilo Medina.

The Taiwanese leader arrived in the country for an official visit Sunday afternoon through Las Americas International Airport.

Just hours after arriving Ma toured the Camino de la Esperanza community center at San Luis township, just northeast of Santo Domingo, built with the support of Taiwan’s Care to Help foundation, at a cost of US$200,000.
