Legalization cards await more than 46,000 immigrants

Santo Domingo.- The Interiorand Police Ministry has launched a campaign to urge foreigners who applied forthe government program to regularize aliens to get their cards and theirpassport stamped at offices set up for the process.

Quoted by Diariolibre.com.do,National Regularization Plan director Samir Santos on Monday said officials evaluateon how they´ll carry out the campaign to make it effective.

Santos said inaddition regular media publications of the names of the more than 46,000 whose cardis ready, the campaign will encourage them to visit the 13 offices.
