More than 65,000 Haitians leave without Government help

Santo Domingo.- TheGovernment-assisted voluntary return of undocumented foreigners who wish toleave the country has helped 878 Haitians, whereas 65,049 have left on theirown.

According to ImmigrationAgency statistics 65,900, Haitians have left after the registration for thegovernment program to regularize foreigners concluded

It says most ofthe Haitians who’ve left have done so through the northwest border crossing at Dajabón.

Immigration says50,676 people have left without government assistance from June 18 to August 2.
