OAS chief to visit a wary Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- Organizationof American States (OAS) secretary general Luis Almagro will visit DominicanRepublic to participate in the second general assembly of the World Associationof Electoral Entities from Aug. 18 to 21.

Almagro, who´s positionof the repatriation of undocumented foreigners earned widespread rebuke Dominicans,will be a panelist in the event to attended by members of electoral entitiesand special guests from at least 100 countries.

The former presidentsof Spain, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero; of El Salvador, Mauricio Funes; MartinTorrijo, of Panama; of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla, and Dominican RepublicLeonel Fernandez, among others will be the panelists in the activity.
